Biography
James Whitfield is a Native Cincinnatian and Walnut Hills Graduate. For nearly twenty years, James has focused his practice on Family Law, working extensively in matters involving divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, dependency, abuse, and neglect as well as guardianships and adoptions. He has also served as a co-parenting facilitator and a mediator for families in conflict.
He is a member of the Ohio State Bar, Family Law Section and former board member of the Ohio Practitioner's Network for Fathers and Families.
He earned his J.D. in 2000 from the University of Cincinnati where he honed his skills as an orator on the Moot Court team and was selected for the National Order of the Barristers. James earned his undergraduate degree also from the University of Cincinnati (BS in Criminal Justice)
In his spare time, James enjoys playing basketball at his local YMCA and trying to better his golf game. Nothing gives James more joy than spending time with his children.
